SAN DIEGO – Nov. 13, 2008 – Taxcient™ Inc., a provider of online solutions and services for sales and use tax compliance, today introduced several new enhancements to vCERT, its ground-breaking solution for managing exemption certificates. Designed by a team of tax experts, vCERT raises the bar again on accuracy and simplicity in managing sales and use tax exemption certificates.

The latest version of vCERT significantly reduces time spent on managing exemption certificates by automating several manual processes. vCERT clients can now automatically populate exempt customer contact information, assign a form name, and automatically calculate an expiration date when mapping an exemption certificate. vCERT also improves on its already great reputation for reducing the cost of managing exemption certificates. Mouse signature support allows exempt customers to sign exemption certificates with a mouse and thereby eliminate most faxing and mailing charges associated with collecting exemption certificates. With these new enhancements, vCERT, once again, sets the standard in the management of exemption certificates.
